Welcome to Hippy Rose online whereby I get to celebrate and share my vintage treasures with others and generations to come.

My love for old clothes, fabric and fashion began long before I found my first vintage dress in an antique shop in Lewes. I owe this passion and thanks to my wonderful and eternally stylish mother who let me play dress up as a child amongst her enchanting wardrobe which truly was a magical place to me.

As I sought out the thrill from my childhood ‘dress ups’ it got somehow lost when shopping in the high street. I’ve managed to rekindle this nostalgia through my love of seeking out vintage.

When you buy new clothing you may well feel like a free agent but the truth is decisions are being made by others about how you should look, and many others will look the same. Vintage celebrates free will in fashion, and my eclectic collection shows my clients that anything goes.

At Hippy Rose, I offer a cornucopia of vintage clothing and accessories ranging in style and content from the 1900s to the mid 80s. As the name suggests, I’ve infused a timeless, gorgeous mix of bohemian glamour with feminine-chic.

I thoroughly enjoy seeking out vintage treasures and travel far and wide in search of unique items for my Brighton boutique and online store.
